The residence features wood flooring, mid-century modern furniture and decor, exposed architectural beams, splashes of colour, an array of motifs, and a Juliet balcony. Includes air-conditioning, heating, fast-speed internet, endless hot water, and LOTS of natural light. This slice of paradise is yours to enjoy. The apartment is located in the area where the annual "Santos Populares" festivities take place during the month of June. Be aware that this area can be very busy and noise can be expected! The apartment is located on the first floor of a building without an elevator in the historic center of Lisbon. Please note that in North America, this would be called the second floor. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed (air-conditioning) and the other with a double bed that can transform into a single bed OR become an office/lounge. The living room has a vintage decor and is equipped with a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. The apartment has a bathroom with a shower. Equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, microwave, four-burner stove, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee maker (coffee not included), washing machine and iron. Clothesline for laundry like a true Lisboeta. During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.

The apartment is located in the emblematic neighborhood of Santa Catarina, full of its typical old houses with original architecture. Due to its soul and the fact that it is very close to Chiado (downtown Lisbon), it is very sought after. Nearby you will find the viewpoint of Santa Catarina. Recently renovated, it has several cafes close by and a green area where you can relax and enjoy the wonderful view of the river. Here is also the statue of Adamastor, the mythical giant of "Os Lusíadas". Chiado is one of the most sophisticated neighborhoods in Lisbon - perfectly located between the monumental area of Baixa and the bohemian nightlife of Bairro Alto. It is also within walking distance of all the main places to visit and from all the typical neighborhoods like Principe Real, Rossio, Castelo and Alfama. Here you will find historical monuments, breathtaking viewpoints, fado houses, chic bars and restaurants.
