Villa Quinta do Algarve is located just 500 meters away from Coelha Beach, and 3.7 km from Albufeira. It is a remarkable place where you can be sure to spend very relaxing moments. At Quinta do Algarve you can enjoy the private pool as well as the various garden areas and great shades for dining and relaxing. There is free Wi-Fi and private parking inside the Quinta. The Villa is suitable for 12 people and includes a large private shaded terrace overlooking the sea (this space is also equipped with barbecue and dining area). The beautiful "Praia da Coelha" is situated in a privileged place between two superb locations in the Algarve region: Albufeira and Armação de Pêra. This place is considered a gem within the local community which prides itself on providing visitors with a warm and relaxing environment. This blue-sand beach (awarded with the Blue Flag) is situated in a beautiful bay where you can find a bar-restaurant and 2 lifeguards during the bathing season (May 15 to October 18).
In the 60's, our family pioneered the exploration of the south coast of Portugal, departing from Lisbon and visiting a large number of practically unexplored beaches. We traveled in a small trailer along the Algarve coast, having the opportunity to visit a vast and stunning variety of beaches and nature paradises. In the 70's, finally, we decided to settle in "Praia da Coelha", located just 4 km away from the city of Albufeira, a beautiful beach that has become our favorite destination. It was time to rest the old trailer and rent a house in this unique place. Later, we bought a cozy house even closer to the beach and, not fully installed, we built a bigger house (the Villa Quinta do Algarve). Today we embrace local tourism in this tempting region, providing cozy accommodation in an excellent and sunny place for those who wish to enjoy both the beautiful Coelha Beach and the countryside having an ideal place to stay while visiting and enjoying a region that, by the way, is the most sought after tourist destination in Portugal.
Villa Quinta do Algarve is located in a well-kept and preserved area, with the beautiful Coelha beach within walking distance (5 minutes). It is a quiet and peaceful place, safe for people and goods. Here you can expect friendly neighbors! It is close to the center of Albufeira (4 km), the tourism capital of Portugal. Excellent local gastronomy (for example, Restaurant "O Marinheiro", just 100 meters) and many other attractions nearby: Tennis court (200 meters), golf course (4 km), horse riding (4 km), Cruising , Canoeing, Diving, etc. in the Marina of Albufeira (3 Km). As you will see, in Quinta do Algarve, it is possible to enjoy both the beach and the countryside, and the magnificent cliffs invite you to enjoy very pleasant walks all year round! Access to Praia da Coelha is through a short walk from the Quinta (just 500 meters) along a pleasant trail that will lead you through olive trees, old carob trees and even bamboo groves. A lovely short walk, that your family will enjoy for sure.
