Hello everyone! My name is Susana and together with my husband, Pedro, we run a small local accommodation management company - Stay Madeira Island! For three years, I was the manager of a small Boutique Hotel in the village of Ponta do Sol! It was there that I developed the taste for welcoming those who visit us! Stay Madeira Island presents Senhora do Mar! This is a 4 bedroom one-story 70's style house. It offers two rooms with double bed, and two rooms with 2 bunk beds each, totaling a number of 4 single beds per room. There is one common toilet with shower, and an ensuite with shower in one of the double bed rooms. The outside area is quite big, with many different spaces, including a pool, a vegetable garden available for guests to use, a barbeque, an interior garden and private sea access. There is also plenty of parking space at the villa. Senhora do Mar villa is a 50 year old house, passed through generations, who chose to maintain the house with all its original details. Senhora do Mar Villa is located at Caniçal, the farthest village at the east of the island. Caniçal is a fisherman's village, with lots of fresh fish and fresh seafood restaurants, and with an deep ocean connection. It's also an industrial and offshore area. Here you can find the beautiful beach of Prainha, and hike through Ponta de S. Lourenço and discover beautiful beaches along the shore.

Senhora do Mar Villa is located at Caniçal, the farthest village at the east of the island. Caniçal is a fisherman's village, with lots of fresh fish and fresh seafood restaurants, and with an deep ocean connection. It's also an industrial and offshore area. Here you can find the beautiful beach of Prainha, and hike through Ponta de S. Lourenço and discover beautiful beaches along the shore. Renting a car is recomended when staying at Senhora do Mar Villa, since supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and other amenities are not at walking distance. To access these amenities you need to drive to Caniçal village, which is about 5 minutes away by car. There you can find everything you need. The capital of Madeira, Funchal, is only 25 minutes away from Caniçal. From here you can also easily reach the North side of the island, or the nearby cities of Machico and Santa Cruz.
