Estrela neighborhood is one of the typical historic spots in Lisbon. It's great to be in the center but away from the hustle where street parking is still free. Within a 1.5 km (15-20 minutes walk) you can find monuments such as Basilica da Estrela or the Chafariz da Esperança, Jardim da Estrela and Tapada das Necessidades, the National Museum of Ancient Art and the Museum of Puppet. Fun is also on the doorstep, Port of Lisbon (750m - 10 minutes walk), Doca de Santo Amaro or Largo de Santos (1.2km - 15 minutes walk), Bairro Alto (2.5 km - 30 minutes walk), Rossio, Praça do Comércio, Belém or Castelo de São Jorge (between 3-4 km - 30-60 minute walk) can be reached by bus (bus stop at 2 minutes walk) or the typical Tram 28 (tram stop at 15-minute walk). Along the way are connections to Sintra (Rossio Station), Cascais (Cais do Sodré station) and the fantastic beaches of Caparica (Boat Cais do Sodre-Cacilhas).
