Amazing B&B with an extraordinary host. It's a small property with only 4 rooms, all of them with private terrace facing the swimming pool. The breakfast served by Alicia was amazing and very assorted: home made yoghurt, freshly baked bread, natural juice, pastries... Everything in our room was spotless clean and the surroundings are very quiet (it's a 10-15 min trip to Olhao by car). I'd recommend this B&B for sure!

Situated between Moncarapacho and Fuseta, the B&B Quinta Luz do Sol boasts a year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace. Rooms offer views of the swimming pool and the garden as well as a seating area.They include a box spring, safe, air conditioning, mini fridge and free WiFi. "Quinta Luz do Sol" is located in the middle of the authentic green landscape of the eastern Algarve and close to beautiful sandy beaches and cozy villages, away from mass tourism. Here you can enjoy peace, birds and nature and explore all the beautiful places and villages that can be found nearby. Due to our central location there is plenty of choice to go out and explore the eastern Algarve and get a "taste" of the Portuguese life with the good wines, cheeses, seafood dishes (cataplanas) and the chicken piri-piri. And don't forget to stop at a “pastelaria” for the famous “Pasteis de nata” or many other delicious pastries. The en-suite room with bathroom and patio overlooks the swimming pool and the richly-grown garden. In the comfortable room there is a box spring, safe, air conditioning, mini fridge and free wifi available. The bathroom is equipped with a lovely shower, sink, toilet, towels and hair dryer. The rich breakfast is served on the private patio, including delicious home-made jams. Around the pool (6x12) are luxury sun beds. For the beach there is a beach bag and beach towels available.
The landscape of the eastern Algarve is perhaps the best kept secret in Portugal. Behind every corner you take on your journey, lies another surprise. Flat landscape alternating with hills, fig, orange, almond and other fruit trees, beautiful flowers and plants, picturesque villages that have not yet overrun by tourists, the beautiful protected Ria Formosa nature reserve, not to mention the many birds which reside in the area. Regular visitors of the quinta are the owl, the putter, swallow, bee-eater and hoopoe. The area is therefore very popular with birdwatchers, but also guests that enjoy nature, hiking, the beach, golf and cycling will appreciate this beautiful area for sure! In the Algarve are several excellent golf courses, there are beautiful scenic hiking trails and a lot of water activities like kitesurfing, suppen(yoga) and kajakken. The charming villages of Olhão and Fuseta are about 10 minutes away from the quinta. Enjoy the bars, restaurants, fishing harbors and the local markets. Or travel by boat to the most beautiful white sand beaches, the islands or enjoy various other boat excursions and there's so much more! We look forward to telling you all about it.
