Maison Citron is located in the heart of Olhão's old town, a few steps from restaurants, the fish and vegetable market, coffee shops and supermarkets. Even so, the street on which it is found has no exit, therefore being in a calm area with no car traffic. Near the sea, a few meters away by foot, you can catch the boats that go to the islands of Armona, Farol and Culatra. In this same place, next to the markets, there are very pleasant gardens to stroll through. The house is located in a historic area and is protected. It has a roof terrace and the typical architectural feature of Olhão. Located approximately 12 km from Faro airport, there is no need to rent a car. This air-conditioned holiday home features a balcony and a roof terrace with furniture. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed on the 1st floor. Next to it, a wintergarden with sliding doors opening to the balcony. It features a smaller sofa and a flat screed TV and a CD player (1st floor). Downstairs, a living room with a double bed sofa for children where you can find another flat screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen with dish washer. The bathroom offers a shower, a washing maschine and a dryer. Free wifi.

Born in Lisbon, I lived half my life abroad. We also manage Quinta dos Cochichos - Country Houses, 4km from Olhão and develop a Tourism in a Rural environment, directed to biological culture. Maison Citron has been added in part for the enjoyment of the family and on the other hand, to offer our guests the possibility of staying in this wonderful and peaceful city of Olhão and from there they can have two combined experiences: the countryside and the city.

The house is next to the Tourist Office, where you can find information about the area and what you can do during your holidays. This city, also called "Cubist" due to its white roof terraces in the old part of the city, offers a pleasant moment to stroll through its typical alleys. In the many typical restaurants in existence, you can also taste the wonderful cuisine, mostly based on fish and seafood. On Saturday mornings, local producers sell their products in the open air next to the fish and vegetable market. The atmosphere is very pleasant, a mixture of traditional and international, due to the varied people who come here.
