Hi guys! My name is Nuno. I’m from Lisbon and I've lived around here all my live. Joana, my girlfriend, is from Figueira da Foz, a small city in north of Portugal and she moved to Lisbon, 15 years ago. We love travelling, and we do it whenever is possible. We believe that the contact with people from other places and different cultures can truly open our minds. Food is our guilty pleasure, from sushi to indian food, but we never forget our Portuguese cuisine, specially seafood. We can give you good tips. This is a bright and cosy flat in the heart of traditional Lisbon. Excellent to explore the city by foot: a 5 min walk from Chiado or Bairro Alto, tram 28 stops at the door (best way to reach the castle), 10 min walk to the train station to Belém. The apartment is located in a historic building, so old that there is no record of when it was built ... The ceilings are high and carved in plaster and the windows receive daylight and make the apartment very bright. The apartment is small in area, but very bright and welcoming. It has two bedrooms: one double room with double bed and a single bedroom. The living room has a sofa bed. So in total the apartment can accommodate up to 5 guests in a total of 3 beds and 2 bedrooms. You will find a fully equipped kitchen, prepared for those who want to cook meals and, finally, there is a bathroom with shower. We opted for a simple décor to complement the traditional architecture and give the apartment the comfort of a home. We hope this to be your home away from home.

The apartment is located in the neighborhood of Bica. This is one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Lisbon, with a wonderful combination of old generations and traditional shops with a new generation of cafes, shops and restaurants. The apartment is very central and is close to most of the nightlife and tourist attractions and is still a very quiet area. My favorite site of the neighborhood is the Miradouro do Adamastor with a spectacular view of the river and the bridge.
