The place was so nice, we didn’t want to leave and regretted booking for just one night. You get a modern, well equipped house, with a piece of lawn in front to spend some time. There are 2 bathrooms which makes getting ready in the morning a lot easier for a group. There is also AC which is not that common in Madeira.

Situated in the Arco da Calheta, this beautifully restored stone house is set on a sun-drenched hillside with stunning views of the sea. Perfect for those who wish to be in contact with nature, experience the traditional lifestyle of the island, be close to the beach and have access to walking walks enjoying the beautiful landscape of Madeira. Built to high standards of comfort and modern design, the house features: -Upper floor a large bedroom with large double bed, private bathroom and outdoor patio. - On the ground floor has bedroom with two single beds, bathroom with shower, living room with sofa bed and cable TV and Hi-fi, kitchen equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, induction hob with 3 rings, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster ... -Outside there is patio with outdoor dining area and armchairs to relax. The garden is large and safe for children, with beautiful grass, flowers and trees where you can enjoy the calm and relaxing atmosphere while sunbathing on the sun loungers. There is also a BBQ area where you will find a brick barbecue table and chairs. - The house has a park to park the car safely and access is done through a busy little street
We are always available to receive, communicate and accompany our guests, we have a very easy check-in and check-out policy, whenever possible according to the time of arrival and departure of each guest
The house is located in a rural agricultural environment, with beautiful dwellings some hundred years old stone, where the landscape diversity, the quality of the climate and the air stand out. A few minutes walk "800metros" you will find supermarkets, bars, restaurants, pharmacy and bank. A few minutes by car you can visit the tourist area of Calheta, with its golden beach very popular with tourists and locals, the beautiful marina with good choice of restaurants bars and a good supermarket. At 15 minutes you can find the beaches and the respective terraces of Ponta do Sol and Ribeira Brava, Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar. Just 15 minutes away is the Paul da Serra at 1500 meters altitude where you can visit the Laurissilva forest of Madeira (UNESCO World Heritage.) The island of Madeira is known as a paradise for those who enjoy hiking, and the Arco da Calheta is ideally situated, as it has many levadas (Levada 25 sources, brought new pleasures tip of the snapper, taken from the Alecrim wind lagoon, taken from red rock, ...) and has easy access to the road network and most of the island's sites.
