Casa da Japoneira is located near the sea, on the southern coast of Faial Island, between the Airport and the town of Horta (about 5 Km each, a 7-minute drive from the property). The origin of this building goes back to the end of the 19 th century and it is classified as rural architecture at Horta's Heritage Inventory. All room are designed and decorated with original furniture, cable TV, free WiFi, and private toilet with bathroom amenities. We also provide free laundry service for stays longer than 5 nights. Guests may use a shared meal area (equipped with microwave, refrigerator, electric coffee maker, dishes, glasses and cutlery) and a garden of about 1000m2, where the camellias are the predominant trees. The property is just 100 m from the bakery / pastry and the local grocery store.
