Alfama is the oldest, and perhaps the most charismatic and beautiful, district of Lisbon. It offers a taste of traditional Portuguese city life. The historic heart of Lisbon, Baixa is the most central and renowned neighbourhood in the city. Home to great restaurants, cafés, shops and some of the capital’s most famous landmarks such as the Praça do Comércio and Rua Augusta. Here you can find Lisbon´s main pedestrian streets with amazing patterned pavement.
