The 4 unique B&B apartments are directly behind the old cityhall at the "grote markt" in Middelburg. Situated in the recently renovated monumental buildings in a picturesque street.Parking 10,80 per day and only 50 meters away. Every apartment has its own theme which links to our beautiful "Zeeuwse" province. 1."In de Bedstee" has a view of the "Lange Jan" and has a typical monumental character that belongs to Middelburg. A cosy seating in de old bedstead, sleeping under old beams and monumental colors. 2."In de wei" is an apartment on the ground floor, Here you can literally sleep between the cows, barndoor as bathroomdoor, artificial grass under the bed and lamps made of old cow troughs, The rear of the bed is made of an 18th centuried "Zeeuws" meadow fence. 3."Strandsuite" is a new apartment on the 1st floor, built in the building next door and has all the luxury; airconditioning, 2 tv's, dishwasher, Large bedroom with luxary beach basket as an extra seating. Diningtable in livingroom. 4."Zeeuwse Glory" is also new and is situated on the 2nd floor. With as theme "Zeeuwse" costumes and jewelry. This apartment is for max 2p and has airco, sleep under the old beams
We are Mart Scherp & Dhani Scherp-Zapata since 9 years we run our restaurant with lots of pleasure and love for our profession . After we've had a lot of experience in different Michelin star restaurants we took the chance and decided to start on our own Our restaurant has recently been expanded and in the meantime has become a concept in Middelburg and surroundings. We serve many local "zeeuwse" products. Recently we added 4 unique apartments to our "Slapen bij Scherp"
Unique in Middelburg, the luxary of a Hotel, the sociabilty of an apartment, directly situated in the center of Middelburg. There's a lot of sightseeing in the monumental Middelburg like the Zeeuws museum, Citywalks, Social and cozy shopping area with lots of cozy terraces, market on thursday, possible to make a tour by boat through the canals of Middelburg, golf course nearby. Nearby the beach of Dishoek and the always cozy Domburg with its beautiful beach and dunes only 13 kilometers away The beautiful boulevard of Vlissingen is 7 km's away, nowhere in the world do the ships come by so close as at the boulevard in Vlissingen Nice to visit the old town Veere(8 km), also known by the movie Michiel de Ruyter. Lots of watersport activities at the Veerse meer. Many beautiful routes for biking through Walcheren of rent an e-solex.
