We had an excellent stay and particularly enjoyed the ease with which we could get into the centre. The location was architecturally very interesting and well worth exploring. Dianne was really welcoming and friendly and we appreciated her recommendations for local restaurants. Overall, the accommodation was ideal for us and we'd love to go back!

This eco-luxe design accommodation is located at the waterfront of Amsterdam IJburg. It is situated on the ground floor of an urban villa. De Groene Tunnel is solar powered and features a waterside terrace and free Wi-Fi. Tram stop Vennepluimstraat is just around the corner and takes you to the historic centre of Amsterdam in 10 minutes. The accommodation is furnished with natural materials and has a modern look. It has floor-to-ceiling windows as well as a flat-screen TV. The bathroom is fitted with an eco and lightning system. Behind the kitchenette is a second sleeping room with a double bed. The accommodation includes a fridge, a microwave and tea and coffee making facilities.There is also a wide variety of restaurants and cafes within a 5-minute walking distance. Shopping centre IJburg is just around the corner which offers a wide variety of shops. Diemerpark is a 3-minute walk away.

We look forward to welcoming you to our ecoluxe sustainable apartment ‘De Groene Tunnel’ (The Green Tunnel) on Amsterdam-IJburg. Our solar powered urban villa, which was built using sustainable architecture techniques, is located in a prime location on the waterfront, and includes a charming waterside terrace with lawn chairs at your disposal. You can take a tram just around the corner, which brings you to the Central Station in approximately ten minutes, so downtown Amsterdam is virtually at arms length! We offer you a spacious ground level ecoluxe two-room apartment with a private entrance, bathroom, kitchenette, and sweeping views across the water. The apartment is very suitable for one to four adults, as well as for a family with one or two children. Unique extras include: Free Wi-Fi, free private parking facilities, rebalancing massages, mindfull meditations and a private jetty allowing you to swim in the canal and with water recreation possibilities We’ll be very happy to tell you all about Amsterdam. And above all about IJburg and its spectacular architecture, the hiking and biking trails, water recreation possibilities, and unique natural surroundings.

De Groene Tunnel’ (The Green Tunnel) is situated at a canal in Amsterdam-IJburg. This new urban districty is situated on specially constructed islands in IJmeer, a lake on the eastern side of Amsterdam. It is one of the largest new developments in the Amsterdam area, with a current population of 20,000. Many tourists who love the combination of fresh and inspiring architecture, water, water sports, beach, nature, good restaurants, hip shops and the summer parties of beach club Blijburg already discovered IJburg. And downtown Amsterdam is around the corner! On IJburg, and the areas around it, you will find parks, beaches, and swampy peat landscapes with many species of birds, flowers, rabbits, orchids, and nesting sites for grass snakes. There is also true wilderness with fallen trees, reed beds and tall grass. The banks of the IJmeer are never far away.
