On of the best features of this apartment is the central location it has in the city. It is ideally located between Amsterdam's top museums, its nightlife area and the famous canals. Yet at the same this tiny neighborhood, the Weteringbuurt, is itself peaceful and safe. As the apartment has been renovated quite recently everything works very well. It is a cosy apartment that offers a court side view with the facades that Amsterdam is known for. The room has all the necesary facilities and guests will have their own keys and all the privacy they need.
I am born and bred in Amsterdam and know all about my city. As I work for the municipality of Amsterdam I think I am able to answer many of the questions you have about the city.
As mentioned before the street itself is peaceful, but there are many hotspots in the surrounding area. First there is the Musemplein. Here you can visit the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, or the Stedelijk Museum for modern art. Then there is the Leidseplein, one of the harts of the Amsterdam nightlife where restaurants are open until late. At the end of the street there are the canals where you can enjoy a long walk and visit some of the better quality restaurants. Also close by is the Heineken brewery and the Albert Cup marketplace which is also a great place for having coffee. These are all of course the immediate surroundings, however because of the location of the apartment most hotspots are no more than a 15 minute walk away in this small city.
