This two units cottage (Villetta Verde and Villetta Rosa) is located in a green, quiet environment on La Maddalena island (Villaggio Piras) facing a beautiful view of Caprera Island. The wide garden with mediterranean species, lentisk and olive trees, surrounds the house and confers to it a complete privacy. The spot is silent and traffic limited to resident cars. Parking is available right off to the entrance. The two units are completely independent. Both houses, at floor level, are suitable for families with children and elderly people. Equipment for babies (crib, stroller, feeding high chair, etc.) might be available upon request. Villetta Verde is furnished in Sardinian style and consists of a spacious living-room, a kitchenette with dishwasher, one double-bed room, a huge kids room for four.. The terrace offers the breathtaking view of Caprera island. Villetta Rosa, consists of a big living-room, kitchenette and two double-bedrooms. The furnished outdoor space is completed by a brick BBQ. The two units have different features (and prices): please make sure you book the one you like most!

Ciao! It will be a pleasure to welcome you in the wonderful Archipelago of La Maddalena. We have been renting Villa Ginestra for some time now and we strive to make sure it gets better and better every year. We are now ready for 2022 summer! We have worked to make a number of changes to improve your experience: replaced furniture where it looked old , hired a new cleaning company, done a lot of work in the garden! Of course, as usual, we have also renewed pillows and mattresses. To play on the safe side, every apartment is fully sanitized with specific products at every guests’ change. La Maddalena is the name of the archipelago situated off the north-eastern tip of Sardinia, close to the Costa Smeralda. The whole area of the archipelago is a National Park. The cluster of rocky islands lies in famously beautiful waters, clear and shimmering with a range of blue and turquoise hues. There are many fine sand beaches and rock cliffs. In the close neighborhoodd of Villa Ginestra there are 3 beaches ,(fine sand) easily reachable via a 5 minutes’ walk along the main road. One of the beaches, Cala Grande, has a playground for children and showers. The principal island of the archipelago is La Maddalena itself, which has a substantial main town of the same name, and a choice of restaurants and shops. La Maddalena is reached by frequent car ferries from the port town of Palau, a journey which takes just twenty minutes. Palau is easily reached by car from Olbia, an hour away, which has an international airport. The islands are a top vacation destination, and are pretty busy between June and September.
