Deep in the green hills behind the Cinque Terre UNESCO National Park, we offer a second floor apartment in a 1930s villa situated in Riccò del Golfo, near La Spezia. The property is upcountry, immersed in nature and it's the perfect choice for those who want a quiet and relaxing holiday far away form the crowds of the Cinque Terre and all other seaside towns in the area. When you open your windows you will see woods, cultivated fields and a beautiful and well maintained garden with a barbecue and many fruit trees, plants and flowers. It's a place to enjoy slow living and dive in the peace of nature and its sounds, you can hear birds sing, water streams, and enjoy pleasant temperatures during summer. The house is located strategically for easy access to the city center, all beaches of our Gulf and the magnificent Liguria countryside with its rivers. Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Lerici, Tellaro, Levanto, Bonassola are all approx 30 minutes away by car. We own 3 dogs (Australian Shepherds or Collies) and 3 turtles.

We are husband and wife, we have a big property and we rent out the top floor. We are discreet and available to help you make your holiday memorable. Our place grants complete relax, a true chance to slow down and explore not only the beautiful seaside, but our as beautiful countryside. We are happy to advise you on possible treks.

The village of Riccò del Golfo it's small, approx. 1.000 inhabitants but it has all main amenities (ie. minimarkets, pharmacy, post office, butcher, barber, hairdresser, beauty salon, bike rental store, cafes, restaurants/pizzeria and a children playground). If you want bigger supermarkets or cocktail bars and more restaurant options, or if you want to enjoy beautiful Liberty architecture you can go to the city of La Spezia in only 10 minutes via tunnels or in approx. 25 minutes if you opt for the panoramic route, which we recommend to take at lease once. If you wish to visit the Leaning Tower, Pisa it is only 45 minutes away; while Genoa with its narrow alleys, Aquarium and Renaissance and Baroque buildings is approximately a 75 minutes drive. Don't forget Camogli and the San Fruttuoso Abbey only 60 minutes away. Nearest airports are: Pisa (45 mins), Genoa (1.5 hrs), Milan (3 hrs) and Turin (3.5 hrs) depending on traffic.
