Villa Cangiani is located on the charming hillside of Massa Lubrense,far from the hustle and bustle of the city,but at a short distance from the seaside,the centre of Sorrento and the Amalfi coast.The property is an old 18th-century manor house with a mix of different styles,designed and furnished by the proprietor herself,recently renovated and turned into a holiday home and/or room rental.Even though the Villa has been completely renovated the scent of the past is present in every corner of the house!The Vecchio forno was once the kitchen used by the tenant farmers that lived in this section of the old farm house.It had a huge brick oven where the family gathered both for warmth and baking and entertaining guests.This was the heart of their home and today it is the cozy sleeping area of our guests. Heia includes the studio Lavanda with an outdoor kitchen.This section of the villa was once used as a cantina where the finished product of the local homemade cured meats and cheeses were strung from the ceiling to dry during the winter season and where the bathroom is located the crushing of the grapes to make the local wine took place,and the Vecchio Forno.

To get here from Napoli Airport Capodichino you can take the Curreri Viaggi bus(not very frequent see timetable on their website)which in 1.5 hr will take you to Sorrento.The other option is to take the Alibus from the airport to Napoli Garibaldi Stazione Fs 15-20 minutes and from there the Circumvesuviana train(Eavcampania)to Sorrento which is much more frequent than the bus.The Alibus continues to Piazza Municipio-Molo Beverello(Harbour)where you can catch the hydrofoil to Sorrento(Alilauro). If you are coming from Rome,you may want to consider the coach option with Marozzi instead of taking the train to Naples.It leaves from Stazione Tiburtina,only at 3pm and arrives in Sorrento at 7pm.It is not very flexible in terms of timings but on the upside you don't have to change transport.

Guests will thake their chance to practice some sport since there is a sports centre in the immediate vicinity.You're surrounded by the sea,the mountains which have enchanting trails leading to secret gardens and villas of old but in truth you are in one of the most beautiful places in the world!!!Both historically and estheticly.Capri is 20 minutes by hydrafoil from Sorrento.The Amalfi coast is 25 min drive from the villa and Pompei is a train ride away.With so much at your fingertips you should plan on a very long stay!Come and enjoy our southern italian hospitality! From Sorrento station take the bus Sita,S.Agata via Massa.Leaves every hour!Ask the bus driver to stop you at Bivio di Schiazzano.After sport centre Garden Bar on the left side you'll find Villa Cangiani.It takes only 3minutes walk from the bus stop.The entrance is from the second gate. You can also rent a car at the airport or a scooter in Sorrento. Parking on site.
