VILLA BELVEDERE - FANTASTIC VILLA OF THE 1600S WITH PARK POOL WIFI AND CHAPEL - VILLA BELVEDERE, a magnificent villa built in the 17th century, nestled in the Tuscan hills, is only ten minutes drive from the ancient city walls of Lucca. The whole structure has been recently remodeled by the owners, by chosing a different and sought-after style for each room. Going through the tree-lined avenue you will arrive at the main entrance of the villa faced by the ancient fountain, while at the back there is a wide private car park leading to the small consecrated chapel of property. The large livingroom will welcome you with its huge central fireplace, the typical coffered ceiling and the piano where you can relax. In the basement a large tavern, ideal for special events, is available with an extra fee, as well as the private chapel. In the Villa’s well kept park is the private pool overviewing the rolling spread of the surrounding hills with the charming Castle of Nozzano, and the gazebo, ideal for hosting a lunch with guests or a romantic dinner. With its chattering fountain, olive garden, fruit garden, bocce field, Villa Belvedere is truly the perfect, idillic Tuscan getaway.

We take care of our villa, belonged to one of the most important families of Lucca during the eighteenth century, immersed in the green of Tuscany but equally close to everything you can need, it's the ideal place to find out the wonders of our land.

The Villa is placed on the top of the Belvedere hill in Santa Mari a Colle village, at about 10 minutes drive from the historic walls of Lucca, an ancient town with the birth place of the great composer Giacomo Puccini and many historical monuments such as Anphitheatre square or the Guinigi tower, with its famous trees on the top. The villa is simultaneously located close to the beaches of Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio and Pietrasanta (about 25 minutes drive), to the mountains, to the Garfagnana’s villages and to the toll booth of the Firenze-mare highway, the arterial road that connects Lucca to the beautiful cities of Florence, Siena, Carrara, the Cinque Terre and Pisa. Santa Maria a Colle village is connected by public transportation to Lucca and served by some grocery stores and an elegant restaurant behind the church just a few minutes walk from the Villa.
