The Tower of Uguccione is in the center of Sansepolcro with its entrance on the Main Street, just 50 meters from the central square. It is the perfect place to spend an unforgettable holiday and to enjoy the elegant city shops, bars and restaurants. You enter the apartment through a medieval door. On the first level are the kitchen/dining room and a bathroom. A large bedroom studio is located on the upper floor with a double bed, a sofa bed for a child and large windows overlooking the roofs, the towers and the church steeples of the town. The terrace on top of the tower offers a stunning 360-degree view over the Tiber valley. It is also the perfect spot for tanning under the Tuscan sun, and having an aperitif and alfresco dinner. The Tower of Uguccione della Faggiola is one of the oldest standing structures of Sansepolcro (XIII century). It is an integral part of the harmonious setting that enables you to feel like you’ve returned to a distant past. Reaching the penthouse in the old Tower is the culmination of this unique experience; you can almost hear the sound of the brave knights courting beautiful dames. The apartment can be rented from March to October (included). The apartment is not suitable for elderly people with reduced mobility due to the presence of several stairs.
The Tower of Uguccione has been completely renovated. After such long restoration works, guests can today experience the charm and styleof a medieval building but at the same time, accessing to all the modern services. The roof terrace is the masterpiece of the apartment. The outstanding view over Sansepolcro, with the Cathedral and bell tower in front, is something unique in Sansepolcro that guests can experiencing by tasting a good glass of Tuscan wine.
Sansepolcro is a medieval town located on the beautiful hills of the Tuscan Apennines on the Umbria border. The gentle flow of the Tiber River has a long way to go before reaching Rome. It is easily accessible by AutoRoute E45. It is only one hour and fifteen minutes from Florence airport and three hours from Rome. Sansepolcro location is a perfect starting point for an endless list of discoveries, like Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Florence, Urbino and Perugia while the mountains offer great hiking trails.
