The manager is very attentive, she wrote all the details of how to get to the apartments. If you feel lost it's easy to find the point in Google Maps. The apartment is amazing, with a big comfortable kitchen, a cozy dining room, good value for a bed, and an awesome view from the window on the Vnecian сhannel... Totally quiet street, a 15-minute walk to the center...

Brand new complete renovation. Simple and efficient lay out in this quiet, bright, dry and well ventilated apartment with 5 windows to the canal and 1 to the back = good crossed ventilation and lots of light (not the rule in Venice). 3rd floor unit (4th floor for US and Canada), no elevator. Outdated yet safe common areas (old Venetian building). Air Conditioning, ceiling fans, screens and black out shutters in all windows, abundant hot water heat, king size bed with firm mattress, good size shower (for Italy), washer & dryer, dishwasher, safety box, etc.
Claudio Barbero-Montagna was born and raised in Santa Fe City, Argentina. He is of Spanish and Italian descent on his mother's and father's side, respectively. Lived for 25 years in Vancouver, Canada, for the last 5 years in Riviera Maya (Tulúm area) and spends the rest of his time between Philadelphia (where his partner lives) and Venice (Italy). He has traveled extensively and believes traveling is the fuel to one's imagination. He usually makes architectural tours out of his time in different cities. He is inspired by: good design, kindness, the moon, good wine and talented people.
Overlooking Canal Rielo de San Daniel in the Castello borough of Venice, where you can get a taste of everyday Venetian life away from the crowds. 20 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco. 10 minutes walk from the direct vaporetto (boat) to and from the Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE). 7 minutes walk to both of the Biennale locations, 2 minutes to the closest supermarket (140m/153 yd away), 8 minutes away from the Biennale and Sant'Elena Parks.This is where you’ll rub elbows with the residents of Venice going about their daily lives, something you will not experience if you confine your stay in Venice to the major sights of San Marco and the Rialto. Whether it’s locals out buying their groceries for whatever they will be cooking that night, or neighbors meeting up for a drink and a bit of socializing, or children playing together in the street, this is local Venetian living at its best. Via Garibaldi houses the local farmacia, the fish mongers, household goods stores, a few clothing shops, a barber, the wine shop, cheese vendor, bakeries and the the old fruit and vegetable boat, still doing business there on the canal as it has for ages. Everything you need for daily life.
