Hi There. This property is a Villa located in the countryside of Nardo just five minutes to the Ionian seaside. The house is surrounded by several acres of land which allows for the ultimate peacefulness- whether taking a walk or laying in a hammock. The Aia offers a 100% farm to table breakfast that changes with every season. Here at the Aia other than normal bed&breakfast amenities we proudly offer yoga and outdoor cinema- allowing travelers to meet locals and get a feel for what Salento life is all about.

I am a half native New Yorker, half Salentina who moved here to Puglia one year ago to open The Aia. I love what i do and I love not only meeting amazing people from all corners of the world-but I love connecting people. I feel very lucky to live between New York City and the Country side here at the Aia. For several years I practiced Chinese medicine back in New York and this opened my world up to alternative and sustainable ways of living. Here at the Aia there is always someone around to learn from and always ways to discover new and healthy ways of living. Its also nice to kick back with a glass of wine and look into the stary sky.

The Aia is located in the countryside. In one direction its a five minute drive to the historical center of Nardo and in the opposite direction a five minute drive to the seaside. Take your pick!
