The Loft is in Viale Papiniano, a street very famous because of its Market that is Milan’s largest and most famous market. Open every Tuesday and Saturday, the crowded spot is famous for deals on designer apparel, footwear and accessories. Many other products are also sold be vendors, but the chic fashion bug is the one to catch here. Great deals are to be had in leather goods and rare fabrics too. Beware though, you may have to literally battle other shoppers over the best bargains. Summer fashions are in particular demand, but year round buys are to be had as well. Most areas of the market are now covered too, so weather is not so much an issue these days. Milan's main flea market stretches down Viale Papiano and across Piazza Sant'Agostino. Recent years have seen some of the stalls flooded with cheap Chinese imports, but on the whole you can lay your hands on some good designer seconds here. On Tuesday mornings the crowd is less and the quality of the goods higher.
