I stumbled across the property in the summer of 2006 during a walk and got immediately fascinated by the old abandoned stone buildings overgrown by vegetation and by the sound of the nearby creek… such an intriguing integration between human-made and nature! I want to live here, I thought… Then started the adventure of finding the owners, buying the place and the land (from 8 different people), going through bureaucracy, project approval, renovation of the house etc etc. … Now is complete, I hope you will enjoy it!

I do not know anything even if I pretend to know something... Nature and people are important to me: I enjoy wit, openness, music and good food. My formation is as engineer, then multimedia designer and (in the last years) organic farmer.

Less than one hour to Siena and Grosseto and two hours to Florence and Rome, the area surrounding Seggiano presents opportunities to explore both natural and cultural attractions. There are a wide variety of local options: From the many natural hot springs less than 40 minutes away (San Filippo, Petriolo, Saturnia, Bagno Vignoni), to Mount Amiata (15 minutes away) with its magnificent beech forest- a true natural cathedral that is green in summer and red in autumn - and with its winter ski resort, to the Val D'Orcia (a UNESCO heritage site) with its majestic sweeping views. Not to forget the sea: the sunny beaches of Castiglione and Rocchette are only one hour away. For lovers of art and spirituality the Garden of Daniel Spoerri, ( another UNESCO site) is just 3 km away offering a fascinating tour through modern art and sculpture.  15 minutes away, the the beautiful Abbey of Sant Antimo is known for its' monks Gregorian Chants. Twenty minutes away Merigar is the site of the Dzogchen community, a center of Tibetan Buddhism each year attracting people from all around the world.   Twenty-five mins away lies the suggestive village of Montalcino, home of the renown " Brunello" wine.
