Traditional Sicilian house built in Acitrezza, an old fishing village, opposite the "Marine Protected Area of the Lachea Island and the Cyclops' rocks". Completely renewed and refurbished, it is equipped with every comfort. Cool and quiet during the hot summer days and the animated evenings, it is a peaceful corner of tranquillity with its wide terrace overviewing the shimmering blue Ionian sea and a scenery of black lava rocks and palm trees. The holiday house of a Sicilian lady born at the end of the XIX century, Adele, the grandmother of the present owner, it is full of characteristic furniture and decorations, the memories of a couple of family generations.

Set in a neighbourhood served with plenty of shops of various kind, it offers the possibility of doing the shopping in the nearby area. Several sea food and pizza restaurants, pastry shops and cafes are also around the area and offer excellent food and drinks. It is at a few minutes walk from the small harbour, where it is possible to hire a boat or take a lift to reach the Lachea island and the Faraglioni, for a refreshing swim or a stunning snorkel inside the Protected area. Important historical sites of Eastern Sicily and Mt. Etna are all within one hour's drive from it.
