The location was excellent on the edge of the historic centre (ZTL zone) which made driving and parking a breeze, It is located with 50 metres of a bakery, coffee bar and modest supermarket while 200m will get you into the historic centre and all the restaurants, views and history you could want. The premises is an authentic (but well ventilated) window-less vault typical of the town. A charming and interesting experience. The enthusiastic host could not have been more helpful. A true ambassador for his lovely town.

Il Nespolo is already special because it is located in Matera! Born in an ancient "lamione" housing structure typical of the town. The hotel is welcoming, well decorated and equipped with all comforts. Has a space in front of where to Park comfortably and, within minutes, access to wonderful Sassi, the old part of Matera, fascinating for the light of dawn, which is reflected in the Tuff of the houses and appealing to the Red sunset reflected on the Park of the Murgia and rock churches. The loquat is a family-run guest houses and, precisely for this reason. We are always ready to satisfy all the needs of guests and to answer their needs and requirements. The loquat is a small structure that will make you feel at home. We are close to all major points of interest. Our passion for our land and our city, makes it even more special!
Sports, hiking, public relations
Il Nespolo is located in a very central area of the city. Just a few minutes walking, you can easily reach the Sassi, the Caveoso district with its Via Buozzi and start a relaxing walk all around the city center with Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the cozy and beautiful Via Ridola, the Civita and the Cathedral and Piazza del Sedile. Il Nespolo can be reached from the central Via Lucana, along which you can find places to shop, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and tourist offices.
