The location is amazing, both from inside the flat and the cozy terrace we could admire a beautiful mountain landscape. It has been a very relaxing vacation. By car, we had been able to easily reach the see and many other nice locations, such that Villa Santa Maria and its refreshing river. The hosts Marta and Rafal are extremely friendly and available to help or introduce you to their friendly goats.

Our stay here at Il Monte Farmhouse has been nothing short of delightful. Marta and Rafael have been the perfect hosts. From cooking up the most amazing dinners and desserts that catered for our rather strict and strange diet. Nothing was too difficult for Marta and she embraced the new challenge and outdid herself. Thank you both so much for your amazing, warm hospitality. For all your great insight in helping us along our new adventurous journey to do as you are both doing today. It has been truly invaluable. You have both truly spoilt us, putting the fire on for our return from house viewings. Your amazing meals each day. Your knowledge of local foods and what is around in nature to forage is astounding. We look forward to seeing you both again towards end of May / June.

Il Monte has a stunning location and panoramic views over the Abruzzo mountains. Marta and Rafal are wonderful hosts and great chefs. They offer meals when you want and what they cook is just delicious. The best we ate in the region, with the most beautiful view, while our kids were safely asleep upstairs. If you come here you MUST eat here, you won't regret it. Our kids loved the cats, goats, ducks and we all loved the fresh veggie patch we could pick tomatoes, cucumbers and other tasty vegetables from. The region is a delight : rocky mountains, beautiful meadows and the sea close by. Few tourists but plenty of highlights to discover and enjoy.

The hosts Marta and Roffo are amazing. So friendly. They cooked us a meal that we could not believe. One of our favorite meals of all-time. Local ingredients and many were foraged by Marta that day. Space is comfortable, clean and stylish. Very nice bathroom. Sweet dogs and goats too. Simply cannot recommend it highly enough. Homemade limoncello and practically everything else.
