I am Elisabetta and this is my "hobby" ... to host travelers keen to visit and discover my beautiful Umbria staying in a place surrounded by peace and quiet: "Il Gelso-Assisi-". I chose this name in honor of the largest plants of mulberry which is located in the garden. We are in the heart of the Mount Subasio Park one step away from Assisi, a city of St. Francis.

Not far away from Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis, we will be glad to welcome you in our house in a landscape at 600 meters altitude in the green heart of the "Parco del Monte Subasio". You will be welcome guests in our establishment situated in a farmhouse consisting of 2 rooms, simply furnished and comfortably equipped with common service. The structure has recently been expanded with the addition of a small but functional kitchen and three rooms furnished with care and served by private bathroom. Each room is equipped with hairdryer, bed linen and towels; there is the possibility to add a bed or a cot for babies. You can also have a private parking, Wi-Fi free and you can pay with credit cards. Near the house there are two restaurants where you can taste typical dishes of Umbrian cuisine. The "Gelso" is an ideal structure for families, for a quiet holiday away from the city chaos, in contact with nature.

We are in a central position and you can visit the most beautiful art cities and the most fascinating medieval villages that Umbria offers to its visitors (Norcia, Spoleto, Montefalco, Bevagna, Foligno, Spello, Perugia, Gubbio)
