Location is great. Really felt like you were in the country side. The property is surrounded by expansive fields and is quiet and peaceful yet close enough to shops for buying food. Simmone was very informative on places to visit etc. The dog on the property was cute.

Fonte Pecciano 1856 is located in open countryside on the gentle rolling hills that surround Lake Trasimeno. At 300 meters above sea-level, it is just 5 Km. from Castiglione del Lago, in the middle of the land of the three lakes, which includes the nature reserve of the Lakes Chiusi and Montepulciano. Its strategic location allows easy access to the most popular tourist destinations in central Italy. The brick and stone farmhouse, built in the middle '800, was renovated in 1992 and improved in 2012. The work has been carried out in keeping with the traditions of this area and the style of the building allow us to appreciate the different architectural tracts of both Siena and Umbria. These clearly characterize the various phases of construction of the entire structure over time. The house now has all the modern comforts and can accommodate up to 8 people in different solutions. the secluded corners and terraces invite you to enjoy the surrounding landscape and amazing sunsets, maybe after a day spent in the neighbouring villages. It is possible to rent 2 independent apartments, a ground floor apartment for two people and a traditional rural apartment for 4 people.
