*****star glamping in Doderino! If you like nature, wildlife and a relaxing quiet atmosphere, this organic farm is the place to be. Doderino is a small cottage but has everything you need. We especially liked the outdoor cooking place. The staff is brilliant and very helpful. Yes, it is a remote place, you have to drive a bit on dirt roads to reach this gem, but it didn't bother us. We liked every second we spend on Fattoria Barbialla. Montaione is the ideal spot to discover central Tuscany.

Fattoria Barbialla Nuova is a large organic farm in the heart of Tuscany. The property is about 500 hectares (1.200 acres!) and spreads over three hills. Immersed in the Tuscan countryside, farm offers 8 apartments located in 2 renovated farmhouses, 1.2 km from the recaption and the fam shop, as well as a villa, 500 meters away. Guests enjoy swimming pools, BBQ facilities, and free private parking. Our organic farm is surrounded by stunning and authentic nature-This point is particularly important to mention: nature is authentic with dirt roads, insects, wildlife etc. This means that it is not for everyone, but the guests who love nature will love Barbialla too! There is no Air-con or TVs in the apartments, guaranteeing total peace and quiet. They all include a fully equipped kitchen with rustic-style décor and Tuscan features. Le Trosce villa features a small plunge pool. Florence is around 1 hour away by car, while the pretty hill town of San Gimignano is 25 km away.

Barbialla Nuova is a large organic farm and forested estate in the heart of Tuscany. We offer farm stay accommodation in self-catering apartments and a farmhouse managed by a small community of international staff. Willing to experience the real Tuscan countryside? Welcome to our farm: this house offers gorgeous views on all sides, antique cotto floors and plenty of space both inside & out.
Why did we decide to rent apartments in our farm? Because we love getting in touch with our guests! Hosts live at the farm, and we are always happy to help you in case you need assistance or suggestions about the area. And if you don't need anything... it's still great to have a chat, share our stories, go to visit the stable or the veggie garden, or taste some of the products of the Farm. Cooking lessons, seasonal fruit picking classes and truffle hunting (in fall) are all experiences offered on site.
The surroundings are genuinely dedicated to tourism and agriculture and therefore offer a rare glimpse into authentic Tuscany. There are multiple organic farms & local producers in the area. Barbialla is an hour drive from Firenze, Pisa, Livorno, and one hour and 15 minutes from Siena and Lucca. San Gimignano, Volterra and less hectic Certaldo & San Miniato are very close (about 30 minutes drive). Our dedicated guide book that we give you at check in will help you get the most out of the area, with tips on how to visit a local goat cheese farm, where you're most likely to spy some wild boars, which wineries are worth stopping in on, what classic drink you should order when visiting Livorno, the best artisans for souvenir shopping, and more.
