Dear Tenants, I was born in Lanusei Sardinia. At the age of 18th I came to The Netherlands where since 1976 I'm working for The Dow Chemical Company in Terneuzen. Beside my own job, I began with the renting of vacation homes on the Eastern coast of Sardinia; these units belong to good friends of mine. The owner on place, will welcome you with open arms, although, I do have all the responsibility for a smooth 'n proper running of your vacation 'n as intermediary 'tween you and the owner on spot.

This rural house is located lain on the outskirts of the small town of Tortoli and at two km from the beaches of Lido di Orri; it has been built in typical Sardinian style. Tortoli is the perfect base to explore from All which pretty much all of Sardinia as it is approximately two hours by car from Cagliari airport in the southeast, Olbia and Alghero in the north east in the north west. The area near the port, from which it is named Arbatax, is famous for its red rocks, which takes its name from a blues music festival that takes place every summer in the country. These rocks are composed of diorite porphyry and red and black emerge from the sea as they were a species of large rocks. It seems a Dolomite emerged from the sea. A talk about the beaches in detail later but suffice it to say that they are sought after destination for many tourists to the white sand and clear sea.

The area around Tortoli' has a lot to be proud of ! Bone-white beaches, pristine sea water, enchanting views and untouched nature; words can't really express the beauty of this rocky coast where high cliffs hide wonderful beaches and coves. We recommend the most evoking creek of Cala Luna, set amongst a woodlands of oleanders, boasting six huge grottos opening up into the white beach. Within a short distance is Cala Goloritzè, emerald green sea and a rocky arch with a 140 metres high pinnacle, Cala Sisine and the two inlets of Cala Biriola and Cala Mariolu. Almost undiscovered and distant, those beaches are accessible only by boat. The beaches of Ogliastra, running after one another in the almost 1800 kilometres of coast, sometime interrupted by rocky formations and port constructions, frame real paradise-like corners. They are places of incredible enchantment and captivating views of kaleidoscopian beauty. On the eastern side as on the western one, to the north as to the south, Sardinian coasts make a charming sequence of pastel blue waters alternating with the emerald sea, while candid shores give way to stretches of golden sand or to cliffs carved by time.
