We loved everything about this property! We stayed 5 nights and wished we had booked more. We had a beautiful room upstairs with windows on two walls and views. The reception rooms downstairs were comfortably furnished and very welcoming. Outside was a botanical garden to delight the senses. We had breakfast outside under the pergola every day. Anita, Manuela and Massimo could not have been more welcoming or helpful throughout our stay. La Mortella is in a perfect position for exploring Monte Argentario and the mainland. There is so much to see and do from there.

Set on Monte Argentario in the Tuscan Maremma, this restored hunting lodge offers a summer outdoor pool and a garden. All elegant rooms come with air conditioning and an LCD TV. Our rooms bear the names of the plants that grow on the Maremma coast and perfume the garden surrounding the Relais, such as Mortella, the wild myrtle from which the name derives and then ... Rosemary, Alloro, Sage, Strawberry tree, Lavender, Wisteria, Broom and Jasmine. Nine rooms of different types, from the smallest double room with a French size bed, to double rooms with private patio or with a panoramic view, triple rooms with a private patio furnished with a table and chairs and a quadruple room consisting of two separate rooms, with a panoramic view.
