Villa Rignana estate dates back to the 16th Century and is immersed in 150 acres of vineyards, olive groves & beautiful fields where horses and alpacas peacefully graze. The guest villas each have their own organic vegetable garden, al fresco dining and enjoy the estate facilities; a large infinity marble pool, a tennis court with scenic views and a bocce court. The properties have recently been renovated to a high standard with fully equipped kitchens, Wi-Fi, wooden ceiling fans and high quality beds. There is a stunning private church ideal for special events and weddings. The Tiki bar by the pool serves wine of the estate. On Saturdays the pizza chef cooks from the wood fired oven and also holds cooking classes by the pool. A short stroll up the road you will find a wonderful trattoria which offers traditional Tuscan dishes, delicious grilled meats, home made pastas with an authentic farmhouse sort of feel. Venue hire and catering for weddings and events can be arranged, further bedrooms can be available in the owners villa on request.

The estate is owned by a Florentine family, who part of the time live in the white villa and available for precious advice on restaurants, vineyards and the best spots to visit. Alessandra is a passionate cook, cordon bleu trained but with a farm to table philosophy, her many recipes which have been passed down through generations, uses only organic local products, mainly from her vegetable and herbal garden. Martino is passionate about wines and production of the finest olive oil. They also have a Palazzo in the very center of Florence which has also been turned into a stylish boutique hotel Porcellino Gallery and luxury service apartments.

We are in the very heart of the Chianti region, surrounded by the most famous vineyards and historical villages like Greve in Chianti, Panzano, San Giminiano…Florence is 45 min drive and Siena 50 min away. Villa Rignana is at the end of a 4 km white road.
