The house was built in the 1980s in the same place where rose up my great-grandparents' house and it provides an excellent place to enjoy and discover the real life of Sardinian people, while being in a convenient position to explore the stunning natural landscapes of Southern Sardinia, having at the same time shops and other essential services at a walking distance. Very close to the house, you can also find the restaurant "La Capinera" where you can taste savoury Sardinian specialties and several types of pizza. From San Vito you can easily reach by car most of the tourist highlights of South-Eastern Sardinia, like the neighbouring town of Muravera, the enchanting Caribbean like beaches of Porto Corallo, Porto Tramatzu, Costa Rei, Calasinzias and Villasimius, the natural park of the "Sette Fratelli" (Seven Brothers), the mine village of Monte Narba and the old prisons of Castiadas, besides Cagliari with its museums, shops and vibrating night life.
