In the heart of Ortigia, located in the popolar and historic quarter of Giudecca, with its typical local restaurants, bar, shops, open cafe, our apartment "Casa Nostra" is on the ground floor and has a private, closed and sunny courtyard and it is ONLY 50 meters far from the sea (Forte Vigliena solarium) and 8 minuts by feet from the beach of Calarossa. The Duomo, with the main square is 2 minuts by feet from the apt. There are free WiFi and 2 screens : one by the bed with NETFLIX and the second one in the kitchen with the Italian basic chanels. We have a hairdryer, a little iron and a good washing machine. We suggest to use the program number 9 for a normal quick wash.

I'm Danish and my wife is Italian, from Modena. We fall in love with the island because of its history, arts, architecture, sea, sun and people. It is easy here to meet people (tourists or locals) not only from Italy but from all over. We love swimming and taking sun just few minuts by our apt: the solarium of Forte Vigliena is just 2 minuts by feet from the apt and Calarossa beach 8 minuts by feet. There are lots of cultural, food, music, yoga, sport, religious events all year round. DO NOT MISS: from may to june there are the reviews of Greek Tragedies at the Greek theater (at The Archaeological Park of Neapolis) , 20 minuts by feet or 10 by bus.

"Casa Nostra" apartment has a private, silent and sunny courtyard. But in 1 minut you are in the heart of Giudecca's life. Here the well known TEATRO DEI PUPI and il FORNO di Lucia where you will find not only bread but parmigiana, pasta, pizza, lasagne, arancini...the best Sicilian food homemade. BUONISSIMO!!!
