Our big home, where my sister and I grew up and lived up to a couple of years ago, is perfect for families and groups of friends! 80 square meters on two floors, it has 3 bedrooms, 3 balconies, large living room, new kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals, bathroom with shower and bathtub ... the house offers everything for a stay of tranquility and comfort. But what you will appreciate the most, I'm sure, is the wonderful lake view garden of 400 square meters, which my dad cares every day with love! It's the perfect place to relax, contemplate the landscape, read a book, listen to music ... and for a nice barbecue in the company! With the new lights, now it is possible to enjoy the garden also at the late evening...
I love traveling, discovering new places and confronting me with very different realities from my daily life. I believe that in contact with new and different people there is always something to be learned, mutual enrichment. So I'm curious to meet you! I love outdoor life, stay with friends, walk, play in the theater, read and take photos. Since I now live in another village, in a mountain resort close to the Swiss border, to look after the guests is my dad Nando, who also cares for the home and the garden, with commitment and passion. He did not know how to speak English, and in the enthusiasm of this adventure, he recently attended a language course in order to communicate with foreigners ...Now he mixes Italian, dialect and a few words of English and French ...many gestures and smiles ... in the end he can understand and explain! My sister Gretel and my cousin Paul also help us to handle arrivals and departures. And... yes, they really speak English! ;-)
The house is located in the small, ancient hamlet of Ombriaco. The location guarantees quiet and at the same time close proximity to Bellano, where there are shops, restaurants, bars, beaches, boat, train station, playground, post office and pharmacy. Bellano is 5 minutes by car and 10/15 minutes walking. Here you can taste the real local life! Bellano offers several attractions that can cater for any type of tourist, from those who want to relax on the beach or in the gardens of the big villas to the most sporty and adventurous. You can walk along the lakeshore, or take a boat trip to other villages. Both the Valtellina and the city of Lecco are both only 25 kilometers away, while Milan with its lively cultural life is just an hour's train ride away. Next to the house passes the Sentiero del Viandante, an ancient track that runs through the eastern shore, connecting various villages and giving hikers beautiful views and interesting examples of rural architecture. Bellano is an excellent starting point for trekkings the surrounding mountains. In the area you can enjoy windsurfing, kitesurfing, fishing, sailing, climbing, tennis, canoeing and mountain biking.
