Argegno is located over 900m above sea level, in a large, sunny inlet of Lake Como between Laglio (where George Clooney's house is located) and Tremezzo, the favorite haunt of many VIPs. Located right in the middle of Argegno, Casa Doris is a short drive from Menaggio or Cernobbio, as well as museums, palaces, churches, gardens and more in the picturesque town of Como, the main city on the lake. The ferry stop is just a 3 minute walk away, so getting around becomes very easy. It doesn't matter whether you are in the car or without. Turn around the corner from the apartment and you can walk over the bridge to the main square of the village where you can find bars and restaurants. All offer not only great local food but something to suit all tastes and budgets.
