It was lovely and warm (for visiting in winter!) well located, and we loved that all 3 bedrooms could accommodate couples as we travelled with our family (3 couples). Rooms were huge and lots of wardrobe space, very modern and beautiful.

The Red House Company is a family business started in order to maximize a property investment in Venice. My wife and I have understood the potential of quality self catering rentals along the way of the positioning of our first apartment: “The Red House”. We decided that this could be our future full time occupation in the December 2009 and we are now managing successfully a number of properties in the historic centre of Venice.

Salina Apartment is the largest one available for tourist rentals in the palazzo. It is on the second floor and consists of: 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a living and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom is on a raised level: a few steps give you access to the large bedroom with a four-poster bed and en-suite bathroom, wooden floors, and exposed wooden beams. The bathroom has a comfortable shower cabin and a window with a fantastic view of Venetian rooftops. It is very bright and has two large closets. The second room is also a double bedroom that can, however, be arranged with two single beds. The third bedroom has two single beds that can be pushed together to form a queen-size bed. The kitchen, living room, and dining room are in the large living area that can comfortably host all 6 house guests. The kitchen also has a wine fridge, the 42” screen TV allows guests to watch satellite TV with international channels, and WiFi in included.

The location is very calm and quiet despite it being close to the city’s main attractions, like the Guggenheim Collection museum, Gallerie dell’Accademia, Ca’ d’Oro-Giorgio Franchetti museum and gallery, Palazzo Giustiniani, and Palazzo Fortuny. Furthermore, the proximity to Salizada San Samuele, Calle della Mandola, and Campo San Maurizio means being close to many shops, restaurants, and the famous outdoor antique market of San Maurizio. Literally five minutes from Palazzina G and the Bauer Hotel, both exclusive spots of Venetian nightlife, this apartment allows you to be at the heart of the city’s most important events, especially during the Venice Film Festival and the Art and Architecture Biennale.
