Occupying a restored 19th century building, this family run Guesthouse is located in the historic centre of Cagliari. Cagliari port is only 50 metres away All guest rooms are bright with high ceilings. They offer views of the city or port area. Each has a private, external bathroom with a bath and shower. Ca' Del Sol is 4 km from Poetto Beach and 750 metres from Cagliari train station. The nearest airport is Elmas Airport, 9.6 km away.

The property belonged to Daniela’s family and it has been lovingly restored. Since 2008 this house has become a meeting place and the source of countless travellers’ tales for visitors dazzled by the beauty of Sardinia. Many of these have become friends for whom we maintain a link between the island and their countries of origin. We chose the name Ca’ del Sol as a tribute to the Mediterranean sun which lights up the house all year long and which inspired our motto “The more the sun shines the happier I feel”.
Hello! We are Daniela and Michele, owners and managers of the Ca’ del Sol since 2008, and we look forward to welcoming you to our house. After running a hotel in Venice for seven years we both felt the need to change to a slower pace of life and to dedicate ourselves to the world of Travel and Hospitality in a way that would allow us to bring more sharing and exchange to personal encounters.
Marina district, where is situated our guesthouse, offers beautiful views in which time seems to stand still; here life goes on busy through many craft stores and small shops of Sardinian typical products and the most renowned Cagliari trattorias. At few steps from Ca’ del Sol you can reach the Bastione Saint Remy with its panoramic terrace where you could enjoy breathtaking sunsets views, the Port of Cagliari in front of the Via Roma promenade where you can sip an aperitif at the Cafe Torino or sitting at the Cafe Roma under the elegant arcades overviewing the Golfo degli Angeli. The shopping streets are all around Ca’ del Sol: Via Roma, Largo Carlo Felice, Piazza Yenne, via Manno and via Garibaldi where are located all the prestigious fashion brands. Ca’ del Sol guesthouse is just a few meters from the Hotel Regina Margherita where there are important meetings and conferences. Ex Manifattura Tabacchi (old Tobacco factory) is located just in front of Ca’ del Sol. The white sandy beach of Poetto and the enchanting and wild Sella del Diavolo promontory are at just 10 minutes away by bus and the bus stop is at only 50 meters.
