The studio is just 5 minutes walk to Piazza Santa Croce and a little more to Piazza della Signoria, where it is Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery...you'll be surrounded by the beauty of the ancient downtown of Florence!! With a few minutes of pleasant walk you'll be in Piazza del Duomo, where it is Campanile di Giotto and Battistero, San Lorenzo Basilica and Market, Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti. The studio is very nice, comfortable, bright, quiet and on the 3rd floor, under the roof, and there isn't a lift (50 steps), like in lots of the historical buildings here in the downtown. There is a dining/seating area and a kitchenette equipped with microwave. Towels and bed linen are provided. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and the bedroom, with a 140x190cm bed, is set on the mezzanine. I'll meet you to welcome on arrival (to give you the studio keys) and to say goodbye at the end of your stay (to take the keys back). I will be available for any information or needs, I live about 20 minutes from the studio. Finally remember to close all the windows and turn off all the lights, heating or air conditioning when you leave the studio, please; THIS IS REALLY VERY IMPORTANT!

The studio is located in the Santa Croce area, statement of the Italian Renaissance, in the heart of Florence. Being situated close to Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio, Galleria degli Uffizi, Duomo and Piazza della Repubblica, all the main attractions are within walking distance: museums, shops, bars and restaurants. Piazza Santa Croce is the location of the "Calcio storico fiorentino", a traditional football game originated in the 16th century. Very interesting is also Sant' Ambrogio market where you can find typical Tuscan products.
