Super spacious and very comfortable and clean accommodation. Great locality with beach, shops, city centrum, bus stops, parks... all nearby. Angela is very kind and tasty breakfast for each morning was a great plus.

Hibiscus is a quiet family run bed and breakfast in the centre of Alghero just 5-10 minutes walk from the town centre, shops and restaurants. We have 2 clean, cool rooms on the ground floor with king beds and private bathrooms which are not in your room. If you book room 2, we also have a twin bedroom on request. We never ask you to share the bathroom with other people. The property has a quiet leafy patio garden where you will be served with a freshly made breakfast of your choice (choose between fresh pastries, bread, cold meats and cheese or yoghurt). You can use the garden at any time of day and there are tea and coffee making facilities in the kitchen. There is free wifi in all areas of the property. If you choose the Hibiscus Suite (room 3) you will be on the first floor with a private balcony and bathroom in a private area with no other guests. Breakfast is self service and you can request what you want. The Suite is cleaned daily with linen change every 3 days.
Bed and breakfast Hibiscus is run by Angela and her brother Nando on the ground floor and first floor of a family property. Angela greets you and takes care of the housekeeping and Nando prepares and serves breakfast. They speak Italian, Catalan, English and French. When you arrive, we will ask what you want for breakfast and what time you would like to have it and you will be served under our apricot tree in the garden. PLEASE LET US KNOW YOUR ARRIVAL TIME AS WE DO NOT HAVE A RECEPTION. PARKING IS FREE IN THE STREETS NEAR THE BED AND BREAKFAST. WE DO NOT HAVE A PRIVATE CAR PARK.
Alghero is a fun, seaside resort with a long historical background so there is something for everyone. Our local white, sandy beach stretches 4 km around the bay from the harbour to Fertilia. There are lots of beach bars, sunbeds and water sports to choose from. There are other wonderful beaches nearby too. Take a boat trip to Capo Caccia and see the amazing "Neptunes Caves". Visist the prehistoric Nuraghe and Roman ruins all over the island. Do some shopping in Alghero town. We have everything from street markets to Italian designer clothes, shoes and accessories. In the evening, stroll around the old town along the city walls and stop in one of the many restaurants or bars to eat fresh local seafood and sip our lovely local wines. If you still aren't tired you can try the nightlife with pubs and clubs open until the morning.
