16 Trulli e Giardini lies in the heart of Puglia, less than three kilometres from the Unesco World Heritage site of Alberobello. We have about two hectares of land with mature almond, fig, walnut and olive trees. Our gardens grow larger every year and there's always something new to see. We are off the main road and surrounded by small farm tracks which are ideal for short (or long) walks. The property has three trulli buildings. In total they have sixteen cones, hence the name. Two of the buildings have been renovated and are available for rent. We do not allow loud music or allow guests to hold parties or invite others onto the premises. Our aim is to provide a tranquil and peaceful escape from normal, busy, hectic life. If anyone plays loud music they will be asked to turn it down.

We like the area because we like to visit old towns, relax in the countryside, garden, cook and eat out, but if you want beaches, Puglia has some of the best and there are lots of other tourist attractions.

Alberobello is obviously the main local attraction, but it is only one of many beautiful towns in Puglia. As Alberobello is fairly central, the whole of Puglia is within easy travelling distance. The area is rich with fruit and nut trees, wild flowers, rolling countryside and oak forests. There are local street markets in the surrounding towns most days of the week, where you can buy local produce including fruit, nuts and vegetables but also cured meats, fish, local cheeses, olives, herbs, local wine and much more. There are many vibrant festivals throughout the year. Alberobello has many outdoor restaurants and cafés creating a lazy atmosphere during the day and a buzz in the evenings.
