We have been welcoming guests in Húsavík since 2016. We are very passionate hosts and are proud of our hotel! We have spent the last 10 years in Húsavík and are able to tell you about all secrets and places of interest in the surrounding. The owner of the hotel is Gunnar Hnefill Örlygsson. He is an Icelandic entrepreneur and hotelier. There is s great relationship about the US Apollo missions to the moon and in fact, Húsavík. This hotel is a special place for Eurovision fans and space mission enthusiasts, and a retreat for all guests who want to appreciate a commanding view over the bay alongside with comfy rooms and authentic gastronomy.

Húsavík Cape Hotel is located beautifully, with great view over the town and Skjálfandi bay. The hotel opened in May 2012. A bar and Bistro have been added in 2021. We offer a huge sun terrace, facing the bay, harbor and the town. Ideal for coffee and cocktails, beer and sodas or our delicious Food. Our JaJa DingDong bar is dedicated to the Oscar-nominated Song from the Eurovision movie, Húsavík my home town. Adjoined to the bar you can find the first and only official Eurovision exhibition with many original and priceless exhibits. The bar also serves as main breakfast room, tables do require reservation in off season times. The hotel has 19 rooms with a total of 45 beds and ensuite bathrooms. Free WiFi in all areas. We also offer a venue with stage and seating for up to 50 people. Húsavík Cape Hotel is close to the town center and it is only a few minutes walk to restaurants, museums, swimming pool, stores and the harbor. We provide whale watching tickets for discounted rates.

In our hotel you will find the JaJa DingDong bar, which offers freshly made and weekly changing menus. We have beer on tap, wines, spirits and cocktails.
