Skibbereen is a busy market town in west Cork, on the Wild Atlantic Way with many beautiful countryside and coastal routes to be explored. The town itself has many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants etc as well as the iconic Uillinn West Cork Art Centre just a 2 minute walk away and with the Heritage Centre, Tourist Office, Churches and the West Cork Hotel all within easy walking distance. Short driving distances from Skibbereen, visit, Lough Hyne, Baltimore, take a ferry to Sherkin Island or Cape Clear. Visit beautiful Castletownshend, Glandore, Schull and the Mizen Head or travel a little further to Bantry Bay, Glengarriffe, Kenmare, Killarney,the list is endless and easy from Skibbereen. Sample the cuisine of our superb Skibbereen restaurants to numerous to mention but all within five minutes easy walking distance of the apartment.
