Situated 5 minutes’ walk from the nearest sandy beach, Fort Farmhouse B&B overlooks Brandon Bay and the Maharees Islands. Water sports, surfing and horse riding are just some of the activities which can be enjoyed in the local area. Free Wi-Fi, private bathrooms and complimentary tea & coffee are provided with each room at Fort Farmhouse. A four-bedroom house is also available and includes a large dining room with an open fire and a fully equipped kitchen. Traditional Irish music and food can be enjoyed in the nearby pubs, and the county town of Tralee is just a 25-minute car ride away. The picturesque scenery of the Dingle Peninsula can be reached in just 10 minutes by car and features secluded coves, ancient ruins and rolling green hills.

Immerse yourself in the natural beauty and awe inspiring landscape that surrounds you while you stay in Fortfarm house. Open your bedroom window and hear the sound of the waves rolling in and breathe in the fresh clean air while contemplating a freshly cooked breakfast. Later go for a walk on the long safe strand that on a summers day would put most tropical beaches to shame.
I like meeting holidaymakers and listening to their stories. We learn from each other. I love hill walking/hiking. Our local hill walking club has many organised walks which are held on set dates. If you would like to join them just ask for details.
Our neighbourhood is quiet, serene and breathtakingly beautiful. Lots of fun filled activities locally. Surf supreme waves in Brandon bay or catch that elusive bass. Saddle up for an adventure like no other with horse riding along 19 kilometers of sandy beach or just dip your toes in the waves while feeling the seaweed and get that refreshing feeling. Enjoy a Seisiun with local musicians and story tellers at the local Tintean Ceol throughout the summer months and of course this is accompanied with the obligatory cup of tea.
