Our apartment was rebuilt from a workshop based on the plans of a talented Hungarian architect. The authentic industrial style was restored through the use of structural elements such as, uncovered brick-walls, high ceilings, and eye-catching arches. The environment of the old days is combined with the modernism and large flowing spaces of the XXI. century designed to meet high-end expectations of quality. The dining area resembles the traditional pub feeling, and together with the couch in the corner, together they form a natural centre of all gatherings with your friends or family. Lofts are not only simple apartments with furniture, they are a lifestyle. Our Loft has something special too: as it was a workshop in it's previous life, it sits 50% below ground level, but due to the large windows and very unique location, it is more sunny in winter than it is in summer. The Buda Castle is part of the World Heritage. Not only the renovated buildings and enchanting cobble-stone covered streets catch the eye, but the catacombs and thermal caves are also awaiting to be discovered. You shouldn’t miss the Holy Trinity Square (Szentháromság tér), Mátyás Church, Fishermen's Bastion (Halászbástya), the Rock Hospital (Sziklakórház) and the Budavár Cogwheel (Budavári Sikló). The covered and open spaces of the Várkert Bazár offer quality leisure and cultural programs (concerts and exhibitions). Besides all these things to see, we propose to visit the first Jamie Oliver restaurant in Central-Europe for a gastronomic experience, or if you are already too tired to climb stairs, just take a 3-minute hike to Déryné Bistro. Should you need any help in organising activities we will be happy to assist you. Good to know: No smoking is permitted in the LOFT or in the entire building. The LOFT and the building are not suitable for parties or other loud events. The building is very quiet, please respect the neighbours. Due to the semi-basement nature of the LOFT, it's comfortably cool in the summer, but if you are a chilly type remember to pack a light pullover.
