There are a number of excellent things at Villa Yiannis. The host Urania is delightful, warm and friendly. We had a balcony on the top floor and beautiful views over the sea and bay, to the town. We found the hill to the villa a little steep the first time we walked up it, but it definitely got easier. We were unfortunate to be staying during 4 days of thunder and lightning and very heavy rain (even by Scottish standards) and being up the hill seemed to save us from being flooded or swept away. There's a nice chilled atmosphere at the villa, where Urania stays with her family, cats, dog, chickens, sheep and goats. The garden is beautiful. Uranuia was also assertive with the loud and obnoxious chain smoker next door. The bus stop is literally at the bottom of the hill. It's stop number 5 and we took the bus to Koukonaries beach on the days the sun shone. The air conditioning was effective and worked quietly. Would definitely stay here again

Very clean apartment and recently renewed inside. The whole structure is very well taken care of - lots of plants and green all around. The host Ouranya is very nice and welcoming person. Definitely a plus. Yes - there is a hill to get to the apartment, which may not be easily accessible to some, but the view from the balcony every morning/sunset is definitely worth it ! Overall well connected to all the tourist points of the island even tho a car/quad is recommended.

Super kind host. Beautuful patio with little kitchen outside and a stunning garden, the room is clean and the forniture is basic but makes the point. Very good position near Skiathos centre and right next to the bus station (anyway my reccomandation would be to rent a scooter or quad).

Good location, just five minutes walk down a rather steep hill down to the beach with many restaurants. Also the local bus that will take you to other beaches and to town, if you cannot be bothered to walk the 15 mins. Comfortable bed, all very clean and tidy. Very nice hostess.

Everything was exceptional: the hotel looks great and has a fantastic garden, our room had an amazing view of the sea, rooms were cleaned every day and linens changed every two days, bed was very comfortable, the AC worked perfectly.

We were staying in a garden view room, which had a shades over the terasse the whole day. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had 5 minutes of walk to the beach. The bus station is very near. The garden and the whole complex is very beautiful and the host is lovely.

Room was very clean and cleaned daily, comfortable bed and pillow, plenty of space for 2 people. Owner was nice. Close enough to the town, 15 min walk maximum . Air conditioning was included in price and worked well

Great location with short walk to Skiathos Town via pretty back streets. Fabulous view of the sea, islands and the town from our pretty balcony (with spectacular sunrises over the town in the morning). Also a beautiful shady garden with tables and chairs at the back of the apartments provided a luxurious and cool place to have breakfast in the morning. Great bus connection with stop right at bottom of road up to the apartments. Beautiful Megali Amos beach with ample sun loungers, cafes and bars a 3 minute walk away from apartments. There are no cooking facilities but a great fridge and kettle so we ate great salad, salami and dip dinners on the terrace between eating out. We had thought the low price might mean poor quality so were really happy to find that the owner keeps rates low just to ensure high occupancy. A great stay and we hope to return soon.

The room was even better than we have hoped for - very clean all the time, super modern and with a nice view over the sea. The host was always there for us if we needed something - we felt very welcome all the time and enjoyed our stay :) If we are visiting Skiathos again, we will definitely come back to Villa Yiannis!
