The hosts are woderful people. We had a very clean appartment and they cleaned it frequently. We received a few gifts and, given how hot Greece was at the time, we received all the drinkable water we needed. The view is beautiful and far enough from the noise of the main city.

The San Andreas Apartments are located in a picturesque, quiet area of Zante. San Andreas apartments are actually named after the charming verdant area that they are situated in. The area is near Laganas so the benefits and attractions of the resort are close at hand but far away enough so that the noise and liveliness of the resort will not interfere with a relaxing and tranquil holiday. Laganas is the most popular resort on Zante, due to its long sandy beach and numerous bars, restaurants and nightclubs. San Andreas apartments are close to a swimming pool and snack bar and also a well known restaurant offering fantastic Greek nights. Children are very welcome and are sure to love the children's play area. We look forward to welcoming you to our apartments for a wonderful holiday in Zante!
The site of Sarakina is known from the Middle Ages and took its name from the Sarakinons pirates who used the area as a shelter. The old mansion SARAKINA which belongs to the Loutzis family, dominates the region and next to it, the Agios Ioannis Prodromos chapel still exists. This is where the Loutzides vault is located. The Loutzis family tree has very deep roots. It dates back from 1504 when Petros Loutzis, the family's founder, left Methoni and came to live on the island of Zakynthos. George, Peter's descendant, was a clergyman and his family's first nobleman. In the island of Zakynthos, nobility titles were awarded from the Doge of Venice to the families which had offered him their services, after Venetians had settled on the island in 1485. Frangiskos Loutzis continued his family's tradition and then his son Nikolaos, who was a member of the Great Council and his name was mentioned in the Libro d' Oro. SARAKINA has witnessed old times. It survived the catsstrophic earthquakes in 1953 and has preserved its dignity, standing there hoping that indifference will not complete the Engeladus' work.
