The house is located not next to Plaka, but in the heart of it! It is the oldest part of Athens! Kidathineon str, Lisiou str, & Tripodon str are among a few streets which exist since the 5th Century BC! Plaka is like a small village within the city, a neighborhood in the shadows of the Acropolis. The studio is located a block away from Kidathineon (the central road of Plaka) and the Zappion (the National Garden). All the historical places are five min walk distance. The house was built in 1920s, recently renovated.The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a stove with two hotplates, a boiler, a coffeemaker (filter & espresso), hotplate, plates, glasses, cups, pots, etc. You will find all the basics for a meal preparation! In the central room, there is a double bed and a closet! The living room has a traditional stone wall, like the old days! There is a table with chairs & a corner couch! The one part of it, can easily convert into a bed for a person to sleep in! Guest will find a clean room and clean sheets and towels (one small and one big towel per person) at check-in time. The bathroom is provided with shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, an iron (iron board available) a washing machine (clothes rack and pegs available) and a hairdryer. The apartment is situated on the ground floor, but there are still two steps down upon entering, with a 40cm descent from street level. Wifi, smart TV with Netflix, blackout roller blinds, air-conditioning and heating are at your disposal. Metro, Bus & Tram station is five minutes walk distance away! Sintagma station is the most central in Athens, located in front of the Greek Parliament and has a direct connection to the airport (blue line)! We send you an illustrated map on how to reach us from there! Additional room cleaning and change of bed sheets/towels can be arranged upon request for an additional charge. Private transport from/to the airport and port can also be arranged for an additional cost!

Plaka is like a small village within the city, a neighborhood in the shadows of the Acropolis. You can actually see the Acropolis wall from the street! The studio is located a block away from Kidathineon street (the central road of Plaka), the Adrian's Arch and Zappion (the National Garden), just 400 meters away from the Acropolis, the Acropolis Modern Museum and the ancient Herodion Theatre AND 500meters away from the Panathenaic Stadium AND 800meters away from the Ancient Agora OF Athens! For the romantic ones, the "little train" can offer you a tour of the center! You just have to stop it when you meet it! Down the corner, there's the "Cine Paris", the best, multiple awarded outdoor movie theater in Athens! The movies are screened on the roof terrace, which allows you to enjoy the magnificent Acropolis view at the same time! The Odeon of Herodes Atticus works in the summer, where concerts still take place! This will certainly be a memorable experience! Around the apartment you may find mostly everything (shops, cafeterias, bars, traditional tavernas, pharmacy). Athen's public transportation (bus, metro, tram) is reachable within five min walking! It's like you will be in the center of the noisy Athens city, but at the same time you ll be feeling like you re in a small, picturesque, time prevailing place!
