For budget accommodation, the standard was very good. Tina, the owner of the property, was most concerned that I arrived a day late (transport problems & low battery on phone to warn her) and came to check that I was OK.

The hotel is very centrally located (it's just a quick stroll to Agia Marina or Panteli and a longer walk to Vromolithos). The bus stop is 1 min a way, so is the super market. So everything you might possibly need is within reach. Tina, the owner of the hotel, is a wonderful and caring person - she went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. The room was super clean and with a lovely view. Overall, Hotel Platanos is an excellent stay. Totally recommended.

The owner was welcoming and friendly, and had lots of good suggestions for places to visit. The bed was comfortable and the view from the balcony was amazing. It's the best location on the island because it's walking distance between Agia Marina and Panteli, close to the castle/windmills, plus Platanos Square (where the hotel is) has the best souvlaki, supermarket, and a beautiful town hall.

Village location was good. Wonderful view of castle and windmills as well as the port. Walk round castle most interesting. It has been restored well.

One of the things that I loved the most was the hostess attention. Everything was great since the beginning, I had an issue with my booking and she was super open to help even if in the end, it had to be solved by Booking. The structure fits perfectly in the ambiance of the Island, you really feel that you are in Greece! The attention was perfect, we had our room cleaned every morning except for Sunday. The internet connection functions properly, the location is next to Agia marina and next to Panteli. If you need to rent a car/moto or quad, you can ask the hostess... One of my favorite holiday ever. Thank you so much for everything... I'll definitely be coming back next year!

Good value. The room we had was very clean, with soundproof windows and comfortable bed. AC worked perfectly well. The location was great, next to the grill house, cafeteria, bakery and even a decent grocery store. Walking distance to the Agia Marina port.
