Excellent service and host! Lily is a wonderful person and her Cottage has everything you need. Fully equipped kitchen, very good beds, cozy and functional seating area, terrace and patio. The garden is so beautiful and the pool clean and big enough. The location is excellent: you can walk to the taverna and supermarket and more tavernas and shops and the beach within 5 min drive. No neighbours nearby but everything so close. Wi-Fi works fast and there’s even Netflix. We can truly recommend this place!

Everything about this cottage is really 10/10, location is great, close enough to the city, within 1 km there is everything you need (restaurants, supermarket, bakery and so on) and still it is isolated from neighbours so it’s very quiet and private, most of the time all we could hear was the birds singing. Cottage is located among trees on a hill so there is a beautiful view with open sea in a distance. The garden is charming and very well maintained, our 2 year old had a huge amount of fun in it. The cottage is equipped with everything you might need and everything is superbly clean. Lily is the perfect host, very friendly, available and helpful. She was waiting for us with her homemade mussaka in oven and delicious cake, treats and fruits on the table. This is probably the best place we've found on Booking so far. The cottage has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. The garden is beautiful, with lots of places to sit and relax/ read/ eat. The location is just out of the town, on a hill with glorious views and there are a few spots to eat within walking distance and many a short drive/ taxi ride away. Being in the centre of the Island it is well located for driving to most places, though we didn't venture as far as planned as it was lovely just to stay at the villa making use of the (Slightly cool in April) pool. As others have mentioned Lily is an attentive host without being intrusive, the homemade treats, and well stocked fridge were perfect for a Sunday arrival.

Among Olive grove, with lemon and apricot trees! Apart from the local dogs very quiet, great view of the sea and surrounding hills and villages. 10 minute walk to two local restaurants, supermarket and bakery. 20 minute walk to main strip with lots of restaurants and beach

Exquisite destination. The cottage has every modern facility while retaining a sense of Greek charm. It is a spacious and well designed cottage. The garden and view are delightful. We did not use the pool as it is winter but we have booked for a summer break as the pool is ideally placed in the garden and we know the cottage has everything we want for our comfort. Short walk to the village with bakery, butcher and supermarket. A short drive takes you to beautiful beaches with never ending sand and many supermarkets and shops. Lily is the ideal host and is available if you need her for anything but is happy to leave you to enjoy your stay. Her hospitality is second to none. We highly recommend Lily’s Cottage for your visit to the Rethymno area.

Everything was really really great. We had the best time of our hollydays in Lily's cottage ! All was perfect : the house is confortable and fully equiped, the beds are very good, everything was very clean. The garden is big and the swiming pool is perfect ! Lily received us so well, with homemade moussaka and she also baked a cake for us ! The fridge was full of fruits and cretan specialties. We could not believe it, it was so nice, thank you for everything !! Lily was very nice and available at all time in case we needed something. I wish we could have stay more time !! A very friendly reception from our host Lily, which included home-made Cretan delicacies. The property was beautiful, clean, quiet and very comfortable to stay in. We particularly loved the swimming pool, beautiful garden and relaxed atmosphere. Lily was also very quick to respond to any issues we had and had numerous travel suggestions during our time in the area. We would happily go back and will be recommending her cottage to all our friends and family.

Die persönliche Begrüßung war sehr herzlich und das ist heute außergewöhnlich. Auf uns warteten Mussaka, Brot und Wein. Die Ausflugstipps und Restaurant Tipps von Lily waren extrem hilfreich. Man merkte, dass sie ihre Insel kennt und liebt und nicht nur eine Immobilie vermieten will. Der Garten war gepflegt und hatte einen schönen Blick aufs Meer. Mehrmals in einem sechstägigen Aufenthalt hat die Vermieterin Kontakt mit uns aufgenommen und gefragt, ob wir irgendetwas brauchen. Das haben wir bei Booking noch nie erlebt. Vielen Dank dafür.

wat een prachtige lokatie met een geweldig ontvangst. Lily had bij aankomst voor ons moussaka gemaakt, verse cake gebakken en nog heerlijke Griekse hapjes gemaakt. Wat een fijn welkom en een fantastische lieve vrouw. de accommodatie is erg mooi met een prachtige tuin, mooie nette kamers en een heerlijk zwembad. het uitzicht over de stad en de zee is erg mooi. het huis ligt rustig met veel privacy wat erg fijn is.
