I am a retired Mechanical Engineer Graduated along time ago from George Washington University in Washington D.C. U.S.A.. My wife and I have two boys. We used the place as a country house mostly on summer and it was a perfect location considerably close to my work in Athens and at the same time in front of the water a fantastic sparkling clean sea, very calm like a pool and perfect for kids (to play). The town of Lavrio was also providing us everything we need to enjoy our stay. We really did enjoy it for many years and we want and hope to have good visitors so they can enjoy it too. The Panormos beach is one of the most beautiful summer places in Attica Greece. There is a camp for children in the mild of the bay.The beach is sandy and perfect for kids to play safely, swim in very shalow calm waters and sun bath all day long. There is no commercial activity any where within many kilometers and no noise from any internal combustion engine or any other noise course. The climate is the same like the Islands of Kyklades dry and pleasant. Lavrio town of 50 thousant people is just 5km away, where you can enjoy great food and fresh fish ( fish snacs, MEZEDAKIA ).There are 5 super markets for cooking at home and one open movie theater. You can also enjoy night life in many small bars till the sun rises . For those who want live the experience of Scuba-diving there is a scuba-school in Lavrio that organizes expeditions which are great. From the port of Lavrio there is a Boat going to a beautiful Island named ''Kea'' every morning and coming back in the evening. Also for small kids there is a kids fair with swings cards and other kids games.
